项目首次重构了下丘脑-神经垂体系统的三维结构，发现内分泌神经元不仅至神经垂体，还通过侧枝投射至脑内多个区域，参与调控社交行为，为理解神经内分泌系统协调外周和中枢功能提供了新视角。

Thehypothalamo-neurohypophysialsystem(HNS)playsapivotalroleinregulatinghomeostasisbyreleasinghormonesintothebloodstream.Forthefirsttime,thisstudyfullyreconstructedthethree-dimensionalarchitectureofthissystem.Italsoprovidesevidencethatneuroendocrinecellscollaterallyprojecttoboththeneurohypophysisandmultiplebrainareas.Selectiveactivationoftheseneuroendocrinecellspromotesperipheralhormonereleaseandfacilitatessocialinteractions.Thisworkrevealsthepreviouslyunrecognized
